We are a materials science company that engineers sustainable, plant-based materials that rival traditional plastic options in both price and performance. Our products are up to 90% less carbon intensive than solid petroleum plastic and offer a sustainable and compostable alternative to help fight climate change.<\/span>

Our team of scientists, engineers, manufacturing specialists, and ecologists work to build sustainable, compostable products for a waste-free future. Our custom research and product manufacturing are conducted in the U.S. at our carbon-reducing Washington State facility.<\/span>

A packaging ecosystem<\/h2>\n

Package recycling and composting don’t happen commonly worldwide because they’re expensive and complicated – and aren’t profitable.
\n
\nWe are working to create a new packaging ecosystem, where all compostables and food waste are collected and recycled back into packaging – not put into landfills.  We have performed pilot-scale demonstrations of waste-based production and made carbon negative prototypes.

\nOur technology enables a profitable system for diverting organic wastes from landfills and generating waste infrastructure that helps fight climate change.

\nThe Big Green Loop\u00ae<\/sup> has demonstrated effectiveness in initial pilots and promises to eliminate billions of pounds of plastic waste and reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
